Die Equipment
Corma's specially developed die heads interface with any Corma system and any make
of suitable extruder: all die heads are custom-built to meet end-product requirements.
Our patented die head technology permits fast pipe size and type changeovers and
eliminates the need to buy a specific die for each type of pipe.
Die Tooling
Corma has developed a wide range of highly efficient, specialized die tooling designs:
Corma Die Spider
Unique design for extruder die heads and die tooling.
Creates a very strong overlapping joint in the pipe that dramatically improves impact
properties. Appropriate for use with all types of plastic material and all pipe
designs.
Pipe Dies
- Single-wall - available in either a straight or off-set design allowing cable or
other materials to be inserted during production.
- Double-wall die - patented design with either one or two channels for use with PE
and PP. Advantages include increased output rates and reduced downtime.
Large Diameter Pipe Die
Highly efficient compact die design for large
diameter pipe production. Alleviates back pressure, permits quick, easy changeovers,
increases productivity and helps ensure safer, simpler handling.
